Where it comes from

How to use it
  • One teaspoon to one tablespoon once or twice daily, as desired.
  • Eat directly from the spoon, or use to sweeten drinks and yogurt, or with bread and labneh.
  • Add to drinks after they have cooled down, not to boiling drinks, to preserve its flavor.
Important information

Honey should never be given to children under one year of age, in any form—including as nectar, mixed in food, or after cooking—due to the risk of infant botulism.

Honey is a natural sugar source and raises blood sugar. Diabetics should consume it with extreme moderation and after consulting a doctor, as there is no sugar-free honey.

Honey is not listed among foods to avoid during pregnancy or breastfeeding and should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
